Ba Be National Park, Vietnam was established in 1970's surrounding the Ba Be Lake, which is made of three connecting lakes reflecting the meaning of its name "Three Lakes". This national park lies in the province of Bac Kan in Vietnam. Ba Be National Park, Vietnam is a beautiful place for sightseeing in Vietnam, lying in the tropical rainforest area with over 410 named plant species and 30 wildlife species, surrounded by steep limestone mountains up to 1554 meters high.


The main feature of Ba Be National Park is the Ba Be Lake. This lake is 8 kilometers in length and 400 metres in width and is home to nearly 50 kinds of freshwater fishes. It is filled with many limestone mountain chains which have numerous caves and under streams. The Puong Cave is the most prominent one which is 30 meters high and 300 meters long with a part of Nang River inside that can be navigated through. One may pass through the villages of Tau, Cam and Hua Tang while sailing through the river to reach the refreshing Dau Dang Falls.
Ba Be Lake is among the largest natural lakes in Vietnam with a total surface area of 500 hectares. Ba Be National park, Vietnam, basks in the flora and fauna and the exquisiteness of this lake making it one of Vietnam popular destinations.
